How do you say thank you to the people who help you maintain a sense of normalcy in a time that is everything but normal? How do you celebrate the strength of these silent heroes; doctor, nurse, delivery man, store checker and everyone who is keeping our economy and lives afloat? Well, Karen Cobb answered that question by writing the best essential worker tribute song and video called. “Thank You (Dedicated to the Essential Workers 2020)” giving us a timely and fitting anthem for the everyday person to thank all the essential workers and anyone who is essential to you in your life during COVID 19.

"Her singing style is a fusion of Pop, R&B, Jazz and Hip Hop. On 'Happy' she has blended these singing styles into her own signature approach, making the CD a joy to listen to. 'When I Look at You' is a ballad that sounds like something Whitney Houston would love to wrap her vocal cords around. However, Cobb does a stellar job on this song, so Ms. Houston, hands off!"

After years of live performances and competitive singing, critics now agree with what audiences have known for years, Karen Cobb is a musical sensation. Karen writes, produces and of course performances all of her own music. Her debut CD, "Happy," first became available in 2000. Since then she has sold thousands of CD’s by simple word-of-mouth.
From the Hip Hop flavor of the song Happy to the R&B roots of Heart of Stone, Karen displayed just the tip of her writing talents. The song To Be Your Baby has the doo-wop feel of the 50's with a millennium mix. The dance groove of Get On Up is a true pop-R&B mix with Karen’s gospel roots. Giving you a performance of true soul.
The crown of this collection is the song When I Look at You. This song is a moving tribute to love. To be sure, the exciting and innovative CD "Happy" has displayed the promising talents of this rising star.
There is no mistaking, this CD is all about Karen Cobb and you are sure to agree. Her second CD has continued to impress critics with her blend of Funk and R&B soul with a style reminiscent of such greats as Tina Turner, Al Green and Gerald Levert.
This CD features new songs written and co-produced by Karen including First a song suggestive of the classic 70's down-home Funk and fun. The title cut It's All About Me, has it's own urban-Caribbean flavor that makes you lean back and relax to the groove.
Karen's song writing takes the listener on brilliant journeys with stories of love, loss and redemption such as those in Love Will Play The Fool, Without You, It Feels Alright and You Had It All.
The only cover song to grace the "It's All About Me" CD is If I'm Not In Love With You, originally recorded by Faith Hill. Karen's version of this classic has left countless listeners in tears during live performances.
Also included on the CD is a new cut of Karen's original When I Look At You, from her first album "Happy."

Karen's newest compilation strikes a beautiful balance in stories of loosing and gaining love. Issues, written by Karen, tell the story of a woman's emancipation from a difficult relationship. Issues has been compared to the sassy stylings of Respect. Juxtaposed to Issues is a cover of the intimate At Last.
The title track Where it Begins, about a couple recognizing love, is contrasted with a Jazz rendition of I will Survive. Perhaps the crest of balance on this album is found in the dance version of Natural Woman to a Rock performance of a new song, Your Way.
